The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) recently issued a Request for Proposals (RFP). In this request, the organization requested the provision of state-of-the-art software to track the illegal use of cryptocurrencies. The Criminal Investigations Division (CID) says it is researching new software due to changes in the use of virtual currency by illicit actors.

Additionally, the FBI said it is looking for modern tracking and analysis tools that are proficient enough to keep up with fast-paced and ever-changing technologies used by illegal entities to avoid detection by law enforcement.
