Bawumia must resign due to the country’s economic difficulties — Minority

He said he [Bawumia] became comatose; He can not be found.

“Indeed, the failure of this government is legendary, the failure of this government is unprecedented…we believe something needs to be done.”

He said, “This performance has been catastrophic, indeed the failure of this government is legendary and unprecedented. If I was the vice president, I would have tendered my resignation as head of the government’s economic management team because our economy is currently in a very bad state.”

“Today the cedis to the dollar is now over 8 GH¢ to the dollar. Not to mention fuel prices. Why should the vice president still be in office?” He asked.

He also called on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to urgently disband the government’s economic management team as they have failed the majority of Ghanaians after their disastrous performance in managing the economy.

“Can the government account for 1 billion of the proceeds of the Price Stabilization Tax after accumulating over 2 billion. The tax was supposed to protect Ghanaians and oil consumers in difficult times like this. We therefore call on President Akufo-Addo to disband the economics leadership team led by Dr Bawumia,” he added.
